The Project

A 1955 Bathroom, Completely Overhauled

The homeowners had just bought a house built in 1955, and the primary bathroom was largely original. We completely overhauled it around a custom wood double vanity under twin mirrors, with green Moroccan Zellige tile in the shower, terracotta-toned floor tile and limewash walls. New plumbing, electrical and lighting went in, and the work was finished in about two weeks.

“The project was a large effort… by the end, it felt like a completely new place. We had Moroccan Zellige tile, and limewash paint, which are not the ‘norm’, but his guys were able to work with our design with no problems!”
